How to apply
Each fall Oakland Saplings looks forward to welcoming new and returning families into the forest. Through our application process we strive to cultivate a community of like-minded families whose young children will join our school.
Application steps
The first step in our process is for you to go through our website and familiarize yourself with who we are. Once this has happened we invite you to attend one of our Open Houses.
While attending an open house is helpful as a first step, it is not a requirement of our application process. Filling out an application is required. Once you start the application, you must complete it in one sitting.
Once your application is submitted, it will be reviewed, and you will be contacted about a good day and time for a zoom interview. The interview process is a space to get to know us better and for us to know more about you and your family (children do not need to be present). As we are a new program, we want to be able to get to know each child to make sure that our program is a good fit. Because of this we do require that your child attend at least one of the following:

A visit day with a caregiver (times and days TBD)

One week of our summer camp
After spending this time with your child, acceptance will be finalized.
If you have filled out a Waitlist Application, we will reach out to begin the process if and when a space opens up.
