Fundraising
As a result of maintaining a sliding scale tuition, being based in the Bay Area, and rising costs, we have developed an Annual Fund to help offset some of our costs. We hope to raise money in a variety of ways including direct donations, events, sales, etc. If you have any fundraising ideas for us, please reach out to us.
We are developing an Annual Fund.
The goal of our annual fund is multi-fold and includes the following: supplementing our sliding scale tuition system in order to support families with greater financial need while maintaining a living wage for our educators and staff, staff stipends to help us retain high quality educators living in the Bay Area, professional development opportunities, financial support for indoor spaces in times of extreme weather (such as museum memberships and indoor rental fees). We are looking to raise $30,000 to help provide for these things.
Oakland Saplings Forest School is an LLC, and as such, donations made to us are not tax-deductible.

Mark your calendars for Family Fun Night at Line51! Alongside the usual family-friendly activities every Friday night, they will offer beer on tap (and in can) for sale, with a portion of the proceeds supporting our school.
